List of bugs fixed!

• If any of the users unfriend someone, all the friends are getting deleted from others account

• The user who has sent request can approve the same request

• Like is getting set even after throwing error "Post not liked"

• When we create a new event, an album is created by default

• Date format in events is not proper

• Search in invites is not showing users details and also it is not clickable

• After entering all details for creating event, the error comes saying 'End time must be later than start time'

• In events, the share button is not working

• While loading Events description page, the option comes for Attend this event even if the event is already has been attended

• In create event, when we change the location in map, the changed location is not getting set in location text field

• When we press android back button on event's album, it navigates to View Profile

• When we enter recipients name and then press cancel button, the recipient field should be cleared

• The successful message displayed is different if all details are not entered

• When we press android back button for multiple times, alert message should be displayed only once

• Ellipses not added

• Checkbox toggle is not working in IOS

• Load More button is getting displayed after loading all users on Leaderboard

• Client-side validation not provided

• Year field should accept only four digits

We’re currently focusing on getting maximum bugs fixed and are not introducing any new features, getting you a more stable product. We will be soon merging all these bug fixes done into the EasySocial app.

These are the bugs fixed!

• Half load more button is shown if not scrolled in Albums

• While uploading 10 images to album, app is crashing

• On events page, when we select status as "Attending", the app crashing in android

• In events> new> Create Event> When I click on "All Day" it opens the calendar

• Clear button should only clear the text written and should not close the feature

• Description should not be mandatory for creating album

• Refresh button is getting cropped when we click on 'Add Photos' in Album

• Gaps in between photos when we upload in Album

• Change tooltip for Search in Friends

• When we click on 'Go' button in albums, it opens the camera

• Achievements of newly created users are not getting displayed in Newsfeed, View Profile and Leaderboard

• User does not have authority to delete groups created by him

• Search icon is getting cropped when we click on NEW in Groups

• Register> Mark all the mandatory fields with asterisk (*)

• Groups> The group having 1 member does not get replicated in the list

• Events> More option> Advance Filter> user should not be able to change past Event's attending status

• In newsfeed> Events> The description for event are not properly aligned

• In events> new> Create Event> Size of dropdown vary for date and time, under Event start Date/time and Event end Date/Time

• While loading "View Profile" page, the option comes for "Add Friend" and "Follow"

• Not able to see privacy setting for sharing posts or photos

• In Album and Friends, refresh button gets cropped

• Album> When we upload an image for album cover, it touches the 'From Camera' and 'From Gallery' button

• Events> User is not able to attend the second event

• Clear button should only clear the text written and should not close the feature

What do we have in jUnite weekly 5.1?

We’re very pleased to announce the EasySocial App version 5. With this release we have added some of the most awaited features like Push Notification, User Registration and more!

Also this version is compatible with EasySocial 1.4x

Push Notification

• Notify user when there is an update on the Easysocial App

It's the end of another week and it's time for another release of jUnite Weekly! This is the 7th release in this series and here’s what it brings!

This week our focus has been getting EasySocial events into the app. We bring you the latest freshly baked code from the AppCarvers oven. All Event functions are not in yet, but will be soon!

Appcarvers is the mobile apps arm of Tekdi Technologies which is also behind Techjoomla. When it was decided that Appcarvers will be doing product development, it was but natural that some of them be built based on Joomla.

We have always loved and respected the awesome work the guys at Stackideas have been doing with Joomla extensions. They have managed to disrupt the extension space by providing some absolutely spectacular extensions and backed it with stellar support. So Stackideas extensions were an easy choice for us to base some of our apps on.

What do we have in here?

In the process of improving AppCarvers strategies and planning, we have noticed that to an extent we’ve been inconsistent in some cases when it comes to providing you timely releases.

Well, you guys know that a lot of stuff goes into this after development. Verification then testing, fixing the bugs after that retesting it and then releasing. The process is very time time consuming and lengthy. Now, number of bugs and the time needed to fix them can be uncertain for every release. To solve this issue of inconsistent release cycle we’ve come up with a solution.

Introducing jUnite Weekly:

Hold your breath guys, JTicketing (An event ticketing system for Joomla!) pro app v3 is going to get some super exciting features. This is going to help users and the event owners to a great extent.

It has been really long since the jUnite road map was published! Apologies for the delay in the release. However, we have made sure that the release is worth the wait.

What’s in the menu?

As promised, we’re extremely happy to announce the release of “The Blog App”. This app is set to work with Easyblog to give your readers a way to easily read the blogs on a smartphone. Now even more ways you can get your content to your readers!

The app is currently available on Android’s Play Store and will soon be available on iTunes as well. A lot more features are planned, but since we wanted to make a release very soon, this version is a preview to what is soon to come. The app right now allows your visitors to read blogs from your site. However I promise the next version will be feature packed and will definitely have the ability to write blogs. Social sharing is another feature we are planning for the next release.
